Compassionate EMDR Therapy to Help You Heal and Move Forward With Confidence
- Compassionate, personalized support to help you process painful experiences in a way that feels safe and manageable.
- Gentle guidance to help you feel more grounded, calm, and steady in the face of stress, anxiety, or triggers.
- Effective treatment for reducing the emotional weight of past experiences so they no longer hold the same power
What is an EMDR Intensive?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an
evidence-based trauma therapy that helps the brain reprocess
distressing memories so they are no longer stored in a way that
continues to trigger emotional, physical, or relational distress.
An EMDR Intensive is an extended-format therapy experience (typically
3–6 hours per day) designed to accelerate trauma processing. Instead
of weekly 60-minute sessions, we dedicate focused, structured time to
move more efficiently through your treatment plan.
Intensives are customized and may include:
- History taking and treatment planning
- Nervous system regulation skills
- EMDR reprocessing phases
- Breaks and grounding support
- Integration and aftercare planning
Why Choose an Intensive?
What Can EMDR Intensives Help With?
Many clients benefit from weekly therapy. However, intensives can be especially helpful if:
- You want faster relief from trauma-related symptoms
- You feel “stuck” in weekly sessions
- You have a specific traumatic memory you want to target
- You are navigating a life transition and need concentrated support
- You are traveling from outside the area
- Your schedule makes weekly therapy difficult
EMDR intensives may be helpful for:
- Childhood trauma
- Domestic violence and relationship trauma
- Sexual trauma
- Anxiety and panic
- Negative core beliefs
And many other experiences that may be keeping you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected.
